I joined Hybrid for boxing a few years ago and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Whether you’re new or have prior experience boxing, Hybrid caters to all skill levels. From day one, I felt welcomed by the friendly and supportive atmosphere. The coaches are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly encouraging, making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident.

Was looking for a boxing gym for quite a while not just to lose weight but to train how to box properly. Not only they have a group sessions for boxing but Hybrid is more focused on one on one training which is exactly what I was looking for.
Moment I walked in I was greeted by the GM, Daniella and after a short interview on what I was looking to achieve, she recommended me on their 12 weeks challenge and added a weight lifting session to balance out my goal to lose weight faster and effectively.
Long story short, through out the 12 weeks program I’ve lost almost 20 lbs and that’s while I’m building muscle and my boxing skills have improved a lot.
They pay attention to the details and push you to achieve your goal but on a level and pace where you can handle.
It was a great decision to join Hybrid to take care of my body after a long years of abuse and enough to make a habit of staying healthy.

From the very first session, the friendly and approachable atmosphere was immediately apparent, and now my class count in the triple digits. It's clear why I’ve stayed. The facilities are top-notch, and the quality of coaching is exceptional—truly second to none. Since being a new arrival in LA, this gym has become like a second home for me. Over time, I've come to feel like a part of the Hybrid family. This gym is a broad church for all skill levels and types of people, making it an extremely welcoming and inclusive place to train, and most importantly, to have a few laughs and plenty of fun!

Training at Hybrid Gym has been a great experience! I love the flexibility and personalization of my sessions, and the support I get at every step of the way. Hybrids program keeps track of my progress with regular weigh-ins and measurements, and my trainer adjusts my workouts based on my progress. I have been training with Garry, and he is great at explaining movements, giving feedback, and making corrections as needed — but all trainers here are just as friendly and knowledgeable! It really feels like everyone cares about your progress just as much as you do, which is really motivating especially when you struggle to see or acknowledge your own wins.

What I appreciate most about my workouts here so far is how I’m always challenged and pushed to improve, while still keeping an eye on proper form and making sure I’m not overexerting myself. I’ve gone through training programs that keep me in a comfort zone for too long, but Gary trusts that I will thrive when I am challenged — and that’s made all the difference. I already see a difference in my daily habits, energy levels, quality of sleep, and of course, in the mirror!

Personal training with HYBRID has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I lost over 20 lbs in 12 weeks and I don’t even have to sacrifice eating good. I fell in love with the fitness journey, getting stronger everyday and now I’m making healthier and more conscious food choices. HYBRID has helped me become accountable and consistent with my workout routine and my relationship with food. Working out has also immensely helped my mental health and my energy levels are much more better now compared to when I started. As someone with PCOS, 23 lbs in 12 weeks seemed to be an impossible feat but with the help of HYBRID, I was able to do it without crash diets and outrageous workouts.

I have had other personal trainers in the past but I’m confident in saying that HYBRID definitely set the bar high on what personal training should be. What sets them apart, for me, is the community and the support and I have always felt that my journey is completely personal and everything is custom to my needs and goals. My trainer, Alisha, has been wonderful since Day 1 and has been one of the reasons I really enjoyed strength training so much. My progress during these 12 weeks was not linear because of my own doing too but I appreciate how my trainer would give me alternatives or other options how I can still enjoy eating the food that I want without it completely derailing me from my goal.

Overall, I am glad to have found HYBRID and to have chosen to invest on myself with them. I feel confident, strong, and ready to take on the world with my new body and mindset.

Within six weeks, with the help of my trainer and supervisions, I had dramatic change effects. I didn’t give up on eating completely, just eating healthier and learned on how to train, how to eat, and how to lifestyle. It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend this gym for personal training. My six weeks before and after picture looks actually surreal. I’m super grateful Hybrid gym taught me how to gym and how to make a plan in long term for your own health.

I’ve been training with Garry at Hybrid Gym for the last 4 months and it has changed my whole mindset around physical fitness. I’ve participated in various classes and workout programs previously, but have never had a positive association with working out until now. Yes, it will challenge you and yes, there will be days where you are sore. But it is absolutely worth the time and investment to transform yourself, both mentally and physically. Garry was also the perfect balance of pushing me on the days I needed it, but also showing me grace on the days where I maybe wasn’t on top of my game.

If you’re on the fence about joining - don’t think, just do.
