I have worked with Jonathan for the last two years. When I begin my fitness journey, I had never taken part in regular exercise. I had no desire to take part in any physical exercise and I was very unfit.
I was very nervous when I took the plunge but I was able to very open and honest with Jonathan and as a result, our weekly sessions reflected my fitness levels and my absolute terror. He was encouraging but always realistic and allowed me to moan and groan but always pushed me to achieve my best in every session.
Thankfully Jonathan has a sense of humour and is VERY patient. He has gently encouraged me to build in regular exercise into my week. Jonathan is realistic that sometimes life and work can get in the way but is there to build me back up.
After a few months, my husband was inspired to take up personal trainer sessions with Jonathan. As a result, we have created a home gym which allows us to exercise at home. That said, Jonathan is always there to provide exercise that needs minimal equipment. Jonathan has helped me to change the way I think about exercise and the importance of doing regular exercise. This has supported my mental health and well-being as well as feeling fitter. Jonathan is excellent at responding to messages and is very reliable. He is on hand to share articles linked to fitness, well-being and healthy eating. I would highly recommend Jonathan because of his kind, understanding and very determined attitude.

Jonathan has been brilliant from the beginning when I started training with him before my wedding, I could see changes quickly which for me was a motivator! I have continued to use Jonathan and he has been a great support, he always challenges me and knows my strength levels. He is a lovely guy and very professional, always on time and is flexible when I’ve needed to move out sessions - I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Jonathan and I started training over lockdown. I found his training excellent because every session was different which made it both challenging and fun. He focuses on long term fitness, developing healthy habits and lifestyle. His exercises address flexibility, balance, core strength and builds from there. Jonathan was always helpful and attentive, I really enjoyed training with him. I recommend him very highly.

I trained with Jonathan over a period of roughly 6 - 7 months. Throughout this time Jonathan was always the ultimate professional; he is clearly very knowledgeable and not only knows his craft well but continuously keeps himself well informed and updated about health, nutrition and fitness.

Whilst I have always tried to stay reasonably fit and healthy, I realised once I started to train with Jonathan, how little I knew about key areas of the body to help maintain good health and fitness levels.

I feel that I have not only improved my physical well-being over the past
6 - 7 months, training with Jonathan, but I have a much better understanding of what a healthy lifestyle (which he always promotes and encourages) actually means and the importance of this in maintaining long-term fitness and overall good health.

Before training with Jonathan, my experience and general perception of personal trainers was that of showy, judgemental and quite arrogant individuals (male and female) who were more concerned with their appearances than supporting their clients fitness goals. Not Jonathan. He is a really nice, respectful and down-to-earth type of guy that simply wants you to be the healthiest person you can be!

I would not hesitate to recommend Jonathan. You will not regret a minute of your time or a penny of your money in investing in training sessions with him!

Whilst I was reasonably fit before I started training with Jonathan I never really left my comfort zone. As well as introducing me to boxing, we also do weight training, resistance training and core stability exercises. He is extremely knowledgeable on both the fitness side and diet. Jonathan is always on hand to answer questions. The sessions are hard but fun and most important varied. If you're looking for a lifestyle change, or like me just want to improve your fitness level and enjoy the training sessions then I can thoroughly recommend using Jonathan Archibald.

I have trained with Jonathan for 3 years and I can honestly say this has been invaluable. When I embarked on this journey I did not know where it will lead but it has become a way of life. Jonathan has instilled in me a confidence in not only training but in lifestyle and how to make this part of the daily routine.

The sessions are dynamic and varied. Jonathan has literally hundreds of different workouts and no two sessions are the same. He emphasises building core strength and I have seen the results.

During Covid it was challenging and again Jonathan was thoroughly professional and during this time the support mentally as well physically was very important and this helped to develop a strong mindset when approaching training.

I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough as he creates a partnership with you and you feel accountable not only to yourself but to him as it's about the work you do in the sessions AND away from the sessions that makes the difference.

I first contacted Jonathan over lockdown when my regular gym had closed.
Working with him has taken my fitness to another level. His focus and attention to detail has helped no end. He provides a holistic approach and feedback on my diet has been invaluable. Now that my regular gym has opened I'm continuing my sessions with him as he continues to provide ongoing feedback on how I can improve. He is a friendly approachable guy that remains ever professional. Highly recommended.

I have been working with Jonathan for well over a year now. He is incredibly motivating and inspirational and has probably saved me from a threatened knee replacement by his focussed and targeted training. He has also massively improved my overall fitness, flexibility and strength. He takes account of my strengths and weaknesses on any given day and his workouts are guaranteed to challenge me without feeling overwhelming. I can highly recommend him
