Former competitive athlete Gartrell will regale you with stories to make you laugh enough to forget the pain of the personalized workouts he’s putting you through. Gartrell is incredibly knowledgeable and can help you meet any of your fitness goals both through variable workouts, but also advising on diet and nutrition. I’ve worked with a number of personal trainers over the years, but Gartrell and TFC are the best I’ve ever found.

Total Fitness Control = RESULTS!!!!
I've been a client of TFC for almost two years now, but experienced Tamekia's level of expertise and insight within my first three months of training! Prior to joining TFC, I'd (unsuccessfully) worked with another trainer for about a year with the goal of gracing the stage of a bodybuilding competition. A friend who'd witnessed my progress in changing my body in addition to my struggle to obtain a "stage ready" physique referred me to TFC. I shared my goals with Tamekia and we went to work! And thanks to her, I was able to compete in my first bodybuilding competition!! IN 3 MONTHS!!!

Tamekia White at TFC is nothing short of a miracle worker! In just a month and a half, with only 3 visits a week, I lost almost 10 pounds, shed 7% of my body fat and gained so much more energy I felt like a new person. She worked around my crazy work schedule and helped me with a customized nutrition plan. It was so fun being in her gym with other women of all shapes and sizes. She has an amazing ability to make you feel like you are getting a personal trainer in a positive group environment with affordable prices. She herself has boundless energy, infectious positivity and contagious joy. I was only in town for a couple of months last year but I still think about the incredible experience of getting to work with Tamekia at Total Fitness Control. I was trying to lose some of the baby weight from having my son in 2015 and she was 7 months pregnant when she trained me! Such a positive experience. I wish I lived in Atlanta so I could go to this gym every week. Tamekia is an incredible person and top-notch trainer.

Gartrell is a great motivator while respecting the abilities of many different types and levels of clients. Nice, clean place with up to date equipment. He trains competitive body builders and fitness professionals, as well as average people. My son in on the spectrum and loves Gartrell. He also trains older clients who are working to maintain bone density and muscle mass. Great diversity of clients - there aren't many weightlifting places with both show trophies and books on container gardening on the couch in front! Great place and a genuine guy.

Tamekia and Gartrell are truly gifts from God. If you do what they say (both in your workout and diet), you will get the body that you want.
