I had the pleasure of working with Khalil for over 6 years! He is undoubtedly the best trainer I have worked with throughout my athletic career. He helped me grow in all aspects of my athletic performance! Whether it be linear speed, directional speed, strength, or general health, he has a plethora of knowledge to help anyone reach their goals. I would not have been able to be a successful collegiate athlete without his guidance. Great trainer, and a great guy!

Posting for Larry Wilson: I'd like to introduce you to my former trainer, Khalil Harrison, and to recommend that you contact him, if you're interested in getting truly expert guidance and assistance in optimizing your time at the gym.

Khalil trained me for at least five years, including during the very difficult time of the COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021. The NJ gym where we worked out was required to close for several months, so he developed an ingenious program to train me at home using a AV link over the 'net. That worked well (despite lacking professional equipment in my basement) due to his excellent ability to adapt to the situation as it was. Eventually, we were able to return to the gym and resume our routine - without any significant loss due to enforced inactivity.

In the times before and after that unexpected - and unwanted - interruption, Khalil developed a training program that focused on my specific situation and needs. When a young person, I was a complete amateur in athletics. I lifted weights (terrible form) and participated in some individual sports, especially judo (fairly successful) but after college, my profession pushed me into a very sedentary lifestyle. Khalil is a genius at getting me to do what I hate - but is good for me. One of the things that most impressed me was Khalil's constant seeking ways to improve my training though study of current practical research and seeking out useful innovations to apply himself.

Why am I not still training with Khalil? Just luck: bad for me but good for him. During the past year, Khalil has undertaken additional personal (marriage/ start a family) and professional (advanced studies) responsibilities that compelled him to make some hard decisions. One was to focus on those demands on his time at least temporarily, and give up individual personal training. We've kept in touch though, and this week, he asked if I would contribute a review to his effort to take a few clients again. This is it.

I absolutely, and without hesitation, recommend Khalil to anyone who wants to get the most out of the time they spend on their exercise.

Lifting with Khalil was one of the most formative experiences of my teen athletic career. It set me up not only to excel on the field, but in so many ways once I reached adulthood. Khalil's extensive knowledge of training and nutrition will help you become the strongest version of yourself and reach your physique goals. His approach teaches more than just physical strength, but more importantly mental strength. That skill spans to much more than just the gym and you’ll quickly see the positive impacts on the rest of your life! Regardless of your fitness skill level, I can not recommend working with Khalil enough!

I am a 16 year old highschool lacrosse player. I trained with Khalil from July all the way up to March. His knowledge about speed and strength work had helped me tremendously from my form to which making sure I was stepping with the right food when running. He wasn’t just my personal trainer, he become someone I looked up too. He knew when I was having an off day and never made me feel bad about it. I could talk him about anything that was on my mind from. There was a good balance of fun and hard work. I will definitely be looking to work with him again this summer.

“I cannot say enough nice things about Khalil. My health was in rough shape when he began training me and he took his time to get my body used to working out again. I had a few hurdles along the way and he was always patient with me and made sure he understood what was wrong so he could adjust the workouts as needed.

I’ll be honest and admit there were days I really did not feel like working out but I knew Khalil would be there waiting for me and brighten my day. His workouts are well thought out and tailored for whatever your goals are. It got to the point where I was looking forward to going to the gym because I knew he would have something challenging planned and in would feel great after.

Over the course of roughly a year I was able to lose about 80 pounds and couldn’t be happier. Anyone thinking of getting a trainer needs to hire Khalil! He will spend the time to understand where you are on your health journey, what your goals are, and develop an achievable plan for you.”
