I worked with Daniel at Kreate Training whilst training for a half marathon. It was my first time using a coach and we set an ambitious target of improving on a PB achieved several years before.
Daniel took time to get to know me, my lifestyle and time available to train, injury history and workout preferences.
What I didnt realise during our first conversation was how the whole programme would be tailored specifically to me. Components of the plan included structured running, gym workouts, home exercises and recovery days. Every aspect had been considered in detail and Daniel was on hand to support and answer questions.
By following the plan and having regular check ins my motivation levels remained high even during heavy training load. Our check ins provided me with accountability and an opportunity for the plan to be tweaked based on progress and feedback.
As we approached race day, Daniel provided advice on race strategy, diet, nutrition and mindset, to make sure I was fully prepared for the event. I went into the race feeling in peak condition, confident and ready to perform.
I was ecstatic to finish the race 2 mins under my target time. This would not have been possible without the coaching provided by Kreate training and I would recommend Daniel without hesitation.
